Just so's anybody doesn't think I'm violatin' RulE # 2 - I like Warren's
character. (but he ain't no Barney)

Watched last nite's episode with the Governor showing up and the MOBILE
museum and whatnot.

Where'd that cannon come from? I thought we got rid of the town cannon
years before when Miss Ellie was still a Pharmacy Gal?

Black powder goes stronger with age, according to Warren. Seems like
it'd absorb moisture, but I let my "Learn a Month" subscription go, so
maybe I don't know what I'm talkin about.

Haven't seen this ep in a while and didn't realize that Ange wore a
necktie for this one, hmmmmmm. Was that one of the answers in the trivia
question about that. I liked the clown necktie he wore when the
inspector was there much better.

The band didn't have very many members - but their uniforms looked good.
Clara must have done wonders with darning and mildew removal since Gomer
was under the bandstand battling his way in with the spiders.

anyway, enjoyed the show, looking forward to tonite - all we get now is
9pm on TVLAND

   o
   Hi all,

Allan, thanks sooo much for reposting that picture, I somehow missed
all of that before. It really does look great and I can't imagine the
excitement of walking down that path, I hope I get me chance someday.
I can't view the video at my workplace because we don't have the
software for it, but I will find somewhere that does and I will view
   it. Thanks again!

   God Bless,

   Michael

TAGS fans (and readers),

The next installment of "Murder in Mayberry" will be
out on my friend's web site tomorrow morning! Just go
to www.dailyread.com to read it!

And, for all you trained noticers who are probably
going to write to me about this later . . . the reason
the action takes place at Tucker's Lake and not Myers
is because Tucker's Lake was entirely in the county
and Myers is on the county like (according to Ken Beck
& Jim Clark), so some of the shore line would have
been in someone else's jurisdiction.

Thanks for readin'!
Sam

Just because Warrens last name is Ferguson, doesn't mean that he couldn't be
Floyd Lawson's nephew. I have 7 nieces and nephews and not one of them share
my last name.

Makes me sad too, Doug, regarding Joanna Moore. If I
remember correctly, she wasn't seriously into all that "stuff"
until after TAGS...

She was always my favorite lady friend of Andy's, and the one
I wish he would have married. Beautiful lady with a 'sourwood
honey' voice. She was absolutely delightful on TAGS!

After seeing the post yesterday about the minks and giraffes
"I don't know what would be worse, spending time with a vicious mink or a
selfish giraffe."
I had to post. The only thing that might be worse would be an exploding goat.

I went to a meeting tonight of my Broadcasting Fraternity at school.
One of the students that was there was a lady who I had a class with
last year (she's a theatre major), and since I don't have any
Broadcasting classes this semester, I haven't seen her in a good
while.

Anyhow, I asked how she's been, what she did over the summer (I told
you, I haven't seen her for a while), and she replied that she worked
in a couple plays on the NC coast in Manteo this summer. Almost
before she could finish, I asked her if she got to meet Andy, and she
replied 3 times, actually and that she got to have dinner with him
one time and that it was so neat. I'm guessing that one of the
reasons she got to meet Andy is that she was also a waitress in a
small restaurant in Manteo.

She also said that she met Andy's wife and that she was really nice
too. As a theatre person in Manteo, one of the restrictions that is
put on them is to leave Andy alone...just as most of his fans are
already aware of the value he places on his privacy. Unfortunately,
I didn't have the chance to ask how she ended up meeting him nor now
she got to have dinner with him.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
