I took the quiz and guess what. I'm 6-7/8ths.

Does that mean I'm a jinx?

Don't need to take no test!!
I am a klutz, so who is the biggest klutz on the show?
For them what don't know, I was installing insulation in my attic and had
about given up for the day. I was making my way to the outlet when my foot
slipped. We have a man here patching the hole in my ceiling, plus a couple
other
things! I just skint my shint....or skinned my shin for them what's
unedjamacated, but it is OK. Felt like maybe Otis after a bender!!
We visited a new church recently and I had a Mayberry Moment. As the preacher
was droning on, I felt myself nodding. Figured I better keep my eyes on him
and wide open! Not as friendly as Mayberry though. Only had one person speak to
us! Give me Mayberry every time!!

>>> I'm intrigued by the King, we're stumped quote. Can you elucidate?

It's from Andy's outstanding version of "Jack the Giant Killer," which can
be heard on the "Songs, Themes, and Laughs from The Andy Griffith Show"
soundtrack album. The king commanded his knights to kill a dragon which had
been terrorizing the citizens, but none of them could figure out how to do
it without getting burnt to a turn, so they said, "King, we're stumped."

You can now get this great classic album on CD from Weaver's, but if anybody
is interested, I have an extra original LP that I'd be willing to sell.

Hey everyone!

I'm glad many of you enjoyed the Mayberry Quiz.

I was pretty surprised that there were no Gomers, Ernest T's, Ellie's, Clara
Edwards, Floyds, Charlene's, Howards, and Otis'.

So I found out why. There were some mistakes on the quiz. Many of the results
that should have been someone else were listing as resulting in "Andy Taylor".

So if you want to take the quiz again, go ahead.

I am going to start the official tally now, if you want to share your results
that would be great! Many of you will probably have the same results, however
some of you may have different results.

Here is the link of the quiz one more time.

Sorry for the mistake.

    Where's the quiz?
(And while we're asking questions: Who's Malloy?)
I would like to take it.

Just email me the link off list rather than cluttering the digest.

Thanks,
Jeff Miller

"George Safferly's gas station was for sale." Or is the bucket on my head

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but why is it that
sometimes Barney knocks on Andy's door and sometimes he just walks right
in? He does it both ways in Andy's English Valet. Seems odd. I can't
think of an explanation.

Kim wrote, Hey all us Thelma Lou's aught to get together over a pan

Of course, we will eventually change it to fife.

Well, am I invited? I'm Barney!
Or, maybe I could call you all together at Andy's house and ......maybe
organize a girls softball team.

Gee, how did I guess that I would be Barney from the quiz? Well
as everyone has been telling me for a long-long time, the quiz agrees,
I'm Barney.

And that's not bad, that's not bad at all. I happen to like cashew fudge
and, well, .........the quiz sure has brought out a lot of Thelma Lou's
so ........well, er, uh, well, ........ where is all of my cashew fudge anyway,
girls?
