Cool. The trees look just like some of my Dept. 56 trees in Snow Village.

For those celebrating Christmas, here is a great little item. It will take a
little while to download for those like me still on dial-up, but it is worth
every second you wait!
Have fun with it!
BTW - Carol's last blood test was clean and she will have another bone marrow
biopsy done on January 13, and it will take a couple days to get the results
back from that. She will be very nervous until that shows clean as well. Now,
enjoy the Christmas decorating!

OK, now is the time to have a little fun and catch the giving spirit of
a reformed Ben Weaver. IF we could give gifts to our friends in
Mayberry...what might we give them?? I'll start and everyone is welcome
to join in.
To Goober...a stack of brand new Comic Books.
To Andy....a free week's worth of service from a true Handyman (to fix
up the house)
To Barney...4 free dinners for 2 at Morelli's
To Aunt Bee..A free vacation cruise for 3 (friends or family??)
To Floyd...A good sturdy walking stick
(that can also be used as a weapon when recruited for a posse)
To Mr. Schwamp...all the materials for a Christmas party at his house
(Dancin' and Root Beer)
To Otis...A real bed in the cell rather than that saggy cot
To Opie...Tickets to a Pro football game with his Dad.
OK, its your turn now. What are your wishes for our friends in
Mayberry,
Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas

I ran across a list on the internet of "Notables who died in 2004." It was
rather lengthy and I looked for any TAGS connections. I found 2:
Irvin Shortess "Shorty" Yeaworth Jr., 78. Directed 1958 cult movie "The
Blob." July 19. (Aneta Corsaut was Steve McQueen's co-star).
Sam Edwards, 89. The town banker in "Little House on the Prairie." July 28.
(Also Sam Muggins in the Christmas episode and Lester Scoby in the Eviction
episode).

I am not as talented as Allan when it comes to cards on the internet, and I
wish I was so I could better express how I feel. I want to wish each and every
one of you my dear friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you
all are warm and safe with those you love and are able to have a very peaceful
and restful holiday season. I want all of you to know you hold a special place
in my heart because of our mutual love of Mayberry and all of the wonderful
things we have learned from it.
Merry Christmas My Friends,
Anita Carpenter

I tried to find Allan's Christmas card on my computer but it wouldn't go
there. I copied and pasted it several times. I didn't get to see it and
everyone
keeps writing about it. Is there someone who knows how to get to it? I like
to try again.
Thank you,
Bee in New Concord, OH
