To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The Splash (20th Anniversary Edition) DVD was
released last week. It contains commentary by
director Ron Howard, producer Brian Grazer, writers
Lowell Ganz & Babaloo Mandel with an introduction and
closing by Ron Howard. When Howard Morris appears in
the film, Ron mentions that he was Ernest T. Bass in
the Andy Griffith Show, and that he directed several
TAGS episodes!

Saw an episode of Matlock this morning ,Ben went to the hills looking for a
witness. The small town he went to had a Mayberry look ,small town with a
small garage and general store ,when he arrived in the town there was a family
sitting outside the general store playing bluegrass .Ben remarked that he
picked a little and one of the men handed him a guitar,he and the group played
Salty dog .They werent the Darlings but it wasnt bad

Hi Everyone-
I think Mr. Schwump is so adorable! Does anyone know the actor's name who
portrayed Mr. Schwump? He was especially noticeable at the party where
Ernest T met Ramona, or "Romeena".
This is one of my favorite episodes... one of many favorites.
I hope you are all having a nice Mayberry Day today :O)

>>>I saw Amzie Strickland in a commercial last year. I've forgotten the
product, but it was one where food scientists came to her kitchen to capture
the flavor of what she was cooking.
I think that ad was for a breakfast cereal that was supposed to taste like
waffles, or maybe French toast. In recent years, she's also appeared in ads
for Pop Secret popcorn.
Rance Howard was recently in a "popcorn" commercial as well; he played a
farmer standing in a field while the corn popped around him. Seems like it
was a car commercial (maybe Dodge), with the implication that the car zoomed
by so fast that it made the corn pop.

Hey Y'all
Just sittin here ponderin bout Thelma Lou and Edgar
Coleman. I was just wondering what kind of church they
attended?..You know with the covers being torn off of
the song books and all. They quite possibly could have
gone to a church that wasn't quite as laid back as the
All Souls Church where the guest preacher from New
York City has to admonish everyone to "Relax, slow
down,and take it easy"
By the way does anyone know how I can contact Dr.
Bream from New York to come speak at our church, just
in case folks want to start tearing covers off of song
books. He could tell us the meaning of it all.
Ain't ya kind,
Zman from Ayden, NC
