Ah ha, that quick scene on Mr. Schwump moving his lips is just one more
little bit of proof to my theory that he is really from someplace else and is
most
likely a spy. We didn't hear him say anything because he was using the same
kind of highly sensitive microphone that Barney used in his choir solo. Mr.
Schwump had a tiny mic hidden under his collar and his contact was able to hear
all the way over to wherever he was. Mr. Schwump just had to move his lips,
just like Barney. I really do think he was probably from Ekmondwight, England
and was a partner with Malcolm Merriweather. I don't believe they were ever
seen together in an episode.

Wasn't Ron Howards' mother named Dorothy? I know she passed away several
years ago.

A ha ha reading Mr. Schwumps lips!. You made my day !
Listen I thought well maybe the Actors name is really Mr.Schwamp.
So on the internet I looked up Schwamp and came back with 3.
There were no listenings for a Schwump. ( My preferred spelling)
Now of course I.m not going to contact anyone and Say Hey are you kin
to the REAL Schwamp !!
I do look for him in background scenes in old movies etc.
Guess we will never know. One of lifes mysteries
Maybe one day Mr. Schwamps /Schwumps face will
appear on Mt. Rushmore.
Until then we can only wait and be fans in the Schwump Club.
Have a happy day
at the big house waiting for the Easter Bunny., Maude

Oh, you're funny, you are. You oughta put a flower in your lapel and squirt
water. For the record, brothers Moe, Curly and Shemp Howard were born
Moses, Jerome, and Samuel Horwitz.
Rance Howard's wife was Jean Speegle Howard (1927-2000). She and Rance
worked together on the TV show "Two of a Kind" starring Mary-Kate and Ashley
Olsen, but she's best known for playing Tom Hanks' mother in "Appolo 13," a
role Ron made her audition for. Her most memorable line was "If they could
get a washing machine to fly, my Jimmy could land it!"

In real life, none of the big three female cast members ever married -
Frances
Bavier, Aneta Corsaut, or Betty Lynn
Actually Frances Bavier was married for a short while.

Subject: Yipee!! TAGS Season 1 is finally coming out on DVD
Date: Wed, 7 Apr 2004 00:12:47 -0700
I received an email to this effect. Seems the overwhelming attention TAGS got
from the TV Land awards; someone finally took notice. Here is a site where
the article can be read. Guess all our perseverance in voting and begging and
whatever else did some good. Is everyone as happy as I am?
