For the 45th, let's Barn wear that uniform the mayor gave him that time that
movie company came to town. I know he still has it and I know he can still
fit into it.

Speaking of the movie company episode, I have to say that the writing for
the scene in the mayor's office where they discuss allowing the movie to be
shot in Mayberry is truly brilliant. And it is capped by one of the
cleverest lines delivered by any character in any episode when the Mayor
parrots Orville's comment and says "Are you gonna let them make fun of your
fat little Mayor?"

These customs, including folklore, religious worship styles, music, and feudin'
were passed down from descendants of the "Old Country", mostly WASPs of Irish,
Welsh, and Scottish Highlander ancestry (of which I am proud to claim as my own
ancestry).

Hey David,
I thought that Franklin County, Virginia was "The Moonshine Capital of the
World". At least that's what the folks there called it. We lived there for
12 years, and you couldn't hardly pick up a paper without readin' where they'd
"busted up" a still.

"And you say she's nice"?

The pickle factory is closing, the plaque is gone, there is more than one
moonshine capital of the world!

Come on folks.....everyone KNOWS that the Baldwin Sisters hold the title for
