I always refer to this season as "the Ellie year." :-)

Thank you so much for your help - now that you have refreshed my memory, I do
believe that it possibly happened on a Matlock episode.
Hope everyone that is going to Nashville has a grand ole' time!!!

Fox released Season 6 of M*A*S*H to DVD last week, with some more TAGS
cast/crew crossovers:
- Naturally, M*A*S*H costars Bill Christopher ("A New Doctor in Town," "Aunt
Bee on TV") and Jamie Farr ("The Gypsies")
- Bernard Fox (Malcolm Meriweather) appears in the M*A*S*H episode "Tea and
Empathy."
- George Lindsey (Goober Pyle) appears in the episode "Temporary Duty."
- Hamilton Camp ("Barbershop Quartet") appears in "Major Topper."
- Keye Luke ("Aunt Bee's Restaurant") appears in "Patent 4077."
- Charles Aidman ("Andy's Rival") appears in "The Grim Reaper."
- Several episodes written by TAGS' scripters extraordinaire Jim Fritzell and
Everett Greenbaum ("Fade In Fade Out," "The Winchester Tapes," "The Smell of
Music," "Mail Call Three," couple more).

Re: Since we have had a few discussions on Twilight Zone, does anyone
know if they are available on DVD?
Yes, they've released them in volumes, also in collections, called
"Collection 1", "Collection 2", etc. There are five of these
collections including roughly 9 discs and 35 episodes per collection
and although they are not by season, it's really not that important for
an anthology to be released as such. They retail for 100$. There is
talk that they may be released by season soon, however. I think I'll
wait awhile to see and weigh my options on my second favorite TV show.

That sounds right; Don's character on Matlock was named Les Calhoun, but he
liked to be called "Ace."
