Hey, P.J.!

No, this is not an unofficially closed group. Everyone is welcome to write in
and post their stories, comments, questions, etc. I did not view the TAGS
Digest for June 10 - June 12 until June 13. I got behind in my reading.

Welcome aboard! Also, feel free to reply to any messages in the digest.

To all of you that were at the squad car nationals on Saturday, I want

to thank your concern and help. I am OK, the doctor said that

I just got too hot and that I had dehydrated and that is why my

pacemaker was causing me some problems. Most of you that know me,

know that I never know when to slow down. But Ken and his gang did an

outstanding job with the event in Brent. A special thanks to Jill,

Robert, Jim, Ricky, Maggie, Jeffery, Joel, Ken, Jeff and all those

that were there lending a hand to help or support either myself, Troy

or my Mother. Just like when Andy & Helen got caught in the cave, 'Ol

Barn and the rest of the town was right there to lend a helping hand,

afterward I thought of that. So to close this thank you, all of you

wonderful people can rest assure that when a fellow Mayberrian is in

trouble you have a whole group of folks that will stop what they are

doing and help out when needed. Thank you all (I know I missed some folks),
I promise in Nashville I won't do that. Love to all.

Kathy Taylor

What I'm wondering about the goings-on in Raleigh is why someone didn't notify
the authorities when they saw what was going on. I remember the episode where
Goober pretended he was held up and he described what had happened. Andy asked
him if he didn'nt suspect something was up with the guy that supposedly held
him up when he came in a disguise. Does anyone know who put up the Barney
statue? Maybe the people that put up the statue and then replaced it with
another one are one and the same.

Have a Mayberry kind of day.

Is a cool windy Sunday afternoon here in the Pacific Northwest and wish I had
a Helen Crump to sit with.

I want to welcome everyone who is coming to Nashville next weekend. I live
in Nashville, but won't be able to attend any of the
festivities. I have to work.
If you have never been to Nashville, watch out for the one way streets.
There is road construction on I-65, I-24, I-40 and Briley Parkway.
Briley Parkway is also known as highway 155. The Opryland Hotel is off
Briley Pkwy.
The high temperature for today was 89 degrees, but it felt like 95 or 96
degrees. The humidity is always rough in Nashville. If you are
not used to humidity, stay indoors as much as possible.
If you want to go shopping there is Opry Mills near the hotel or you can
drive to Rivergate Mall, which is north of Nashville.

Have fun in Nashville. You may see Floyd walking down the street trying to
get away from Madeline Grayson, the lady who was after Floyd's
money.

Gomer: "Good luck to you and yours."
Goober says hey.

Margaret
:( So sorry about missing the festivities.

Someone on the digest told us about a website devoted to Blue Willow items.
I don't remember the exact name of the site, but here is the link to one
place I found by searching on the internet for Blue Willow dishes. I am
sure there are other sites that sell the pattern as well.
