Hey all,

Sorry that I haven't written in a while. But I was
wondering if anyone could tell me if there's a site
where I can look up if TAGS is on tv here in Toronto,
Canada? I haven't seen the show at all as of late, we
do get some of the Buffalo stations that periodically
showed the program. Let me know...can't seem to find
any listings service online. We don't get TV land
here.

best and blessings,

Richard.

I, for one, love all Mayberry moments and urge everyone to share them.
They bring a joy to my day that is unmatched. Thanks to Erin for a cute
and concise vignette of happiness.

Hot dogs with slaw, you say? I didn't know hot dogs came any other way
before I left home (NC) for college on the other side of the Mississippi.

Subject: Charlotte Observer Article

Message from THe County Clerk:

For those of you that get the Charlotte Observer there was a short article in
Sundays arts section on The Darlings. Mark Price has helped me in the past
promote various events that I sponsor in Oakboro NC. HE mentioned the Dillards
along with MAggie will be at the Oakboro Music Hall on July 17th for 2 shows.
HE informed me that the big ET(Entertinment) section that comes out on Fridays
will run a big article from the interview he had with Rodney Dillard. This
article will be on Friday July 16th (The day before the show).

Have I got a story for you all! My husband has a small tag-a-long trailer that
he hitches to our car whenever he needs to haul something. Since our garage is
full of stuff, he has been storing it in our side yard. Saturday afternoon, I
was mowing the lawn with the push mower when my husband stopped me and asked,
"Where's the trailer?" It was gone. Now here's where the Mayberry connection
kicks in. First of all, I had been mowing where the trailer was stored and
somewhere down deep in my mind was thinking about why the grass was taller
there but never noticed the trailer was missing. That reminded me of Andy
asking Barney, "Where's your keys?" Ol' Barn was twirling his key chain and
never noticed the missing keys. So we called the State Police and after a
while a trooper stopped by. He took the information and then I just had to ask
him, "Are you going to make a moulage?" I was just busting to ask him that. I
couldn't help it. Of course, I had to explain a little!
  bit. He
smiled politely. Then I wanted to call someone and shout, "Hey Sarah! Guess
what!" The policeman didn't look for any clues. I told my husband that there
could be fingerprints on the little log that the tongue of the trailer had been
propped on, but my husband said that had been stolen too. I wanted to rush the
log down to the boys at the lab. Anyway, we'll probably never get the trailer
back unless the perp is dumb enough to try to re-register it. Most likely
he/she will just use it on private land or the miles of back roads we have in
our very rural county. It's too bad we were robbed, but I had a lot of fun
thinking about crime in Mayberry.
Carol (don't ever call me a trained noticer)

Kind behind the eyes.
