I was watching an episode the other evening, I believe
it was titled "Mayberry is bankrupt" or something to
that effect. It was the one where they were evicting
the old man until they found he had a bond worth more
then $350,000 that the town couldn't pay so they
remodeled his house. Anyway, in one scene near the
beginning Andy, Aunt Bee and Opie were sitting on the
front porch and Opie asked why the old man couldn't
stay with them. I noticed in this scene that Aunt Bee
was knitting and was wearing eye glasses. I don't
think I ever noticed her wearing glasses in any other
scene????? Have I been missing this all these years,
if so I will need to have MY glasses checked.
