***It didn't seem to get much business during the first 5 seasons. The only
time TV repair was mentioned (that I recall) was when Barney brought George (Howard Morris) out to the lake to tell Helen about her set. I suppose it would be hard to get a set repaired or shop for a new one if there were no door to enter the store.*** Don't forget their was a first season episode revealing the town's undertaker, Orville Monroe, was also its TV repairman. I think he was played by character actor Jonathan Hole. I know his character appeared in two other episodes but I think "Mayberry Goes Hollywood" was the only one that addressed his business, and there's even a shot of him opening the tailgate of his hearse and taking out a TV set.
