I always assumed that folks bought a ticket from the drugstore right behind
where the bus stopped: Franklin's Pharmacy I believe it said. Passengers
could also probably ask the driver to wait a minute if they wanted to hop
off for a quick purchase or restroom break too. Maybe Sarah arranged their
tickets over the phone and had them hand-delivered like when the telegram
was brought directly to Aunt Bee at home!
