After putting a bucket on my head for a few days, I think the keepsake I'd like to have are the two plaques on the courthouse doors that read "Sheriff" and "Justice of the Peace". Of course, the actual plaques are displayed in the Andy Griffith Museum in Mount Airy, NC. They hung in Andy Griffith's garage on the wall before he donated them to the museum. But if they weren't there, they would be my favorite keepsake from the show.
