Last night, while watching a 1966 episode of "The Fugitive" (which I think is one of the best dramas in television history), I was surprised to see none other than Jack Dodson (a/k/a Howard Sprague) appearing as a police lieutenant trying to track down Richard Kimble - it was a fairly small role, but nothing like the Mayberry character he played afterwards.
