While channel surfing this morning, I stumbled across a Lassie episode from 1960. I noticed two actors that appeared familiar, and upon further investigation, only one turned out to be a TAGS alumni from what I could tell. It was Phil Chambers, who played Jason the hotel clerk. He was a chicken rancher in Lassie who thought another farmer’s minks were killing his chickens. The other farmer, Walter Reed was familiar looking, but IMDB did not list him as an actor in TAGS. Another interesting note, the outdoor shots looked like areas used near Mayberry.
