Dear Friends,
I am writing to tell you of a fundraiser we are doing for our friend Dave
Vaught of the VW Boys. For those of you who have been to Mayberry Days over
the years you will undoubtedly know Dave if you've taken in the VW's concert.
Dave has developed pre-cancerous cells on the base of his esophogus and must
have a procedure every two months. Well, it ain't cheap to have it done and
although Dave stays busy doing his magic and with the VW's, it is still a
burden.
Tim White and I decided to do a fundraiser and it will be this Friday night in
Bristol Virginia at the Cameo Theatre on State Street. If you are in the area
and can make it we sure would like to have you come. For more details and to

click on Dave's picture in the upper right hand corner of their home page. Any
amount you can do is appreciated. No gift is too small when you are going
through something like this.
We would sure love to see you there on Friday at 7:30 p.m. but if you can't
come to the concert, you can still participate by going to the site and giving.
