On August 31, younger brother turned 57. So nice to be with Mom, Grandma, siblings, grandkids, nephews and nieces celebrating with dinner, cake and gifts. Great to all be together. We celebrated at his place in north central Ontario. ( about an hour south of Algonquin Park )
After, we all watched Opie's Fortune. It was great to see ages 14 to 80 enjoying and seeing the humour and care as Barney read the newspaper to Andy regarding Earl Pike's birthday gift of a brand new car to his boy. "How old is his boy?" "He's 57, isn't he?" Andy's nod toward's Barney........just so fantastic. Just shows how our favourite show lives on and transcends the ages. Take care.
