On New Year's Day, Martha and I were out of town attending one of those Football Bowl Games. Before I had left I noticed that The Western TV Channel would be having a "Death Valley Days" marathon on New Year's Day, so I set the old TiVo to record all 32 of the episodes. Since getting back I have been watching them one or two each day. Today I watched the episode entitled "The Little Bullfrog Nugget" from 1952. Imagine my surprise to find our own Otis in the show. At first I did not recognize his face because he had grown a mustache, but when he spoke I immediately recognized his voice. It was one of his very first screen appearances, and he was as good as always in the show.
