Not quite. Previously, I had only ever equated the rasterize command with text. In Photoshop you can type in text, leave it alone, and then come back later and edit the type. But what you can't do is erase, airbrush, pencil, or otherise pixilate the text until you rasterize the layer. However, once it is rasterized, you can no longer edit the text with the Type tool.

Todd, that's EXACTLY what I was talking about. However, clicking on the Show Bounding Box didn't seem to do the trick. But I played around with it for a while and found out that if you Rasterize the layer then it behaves like a normal line and is fully editable. Thank you!
