On my machine at least, your example seems like more of a counter-example 
:)  When I go to the Armenian page, I get what looks like a bunch of ascii 
garbage ... for instance, the line that should read "Hello, 
Internationalization" (in Armenian) says

���, ����ݳ���ݳ�������ݣ

I don't read Armenian, but I would be pretty surprised if it is almost 
entirely composed of vowels, and includes superscripted numbers in its 
alphabet!  What I am seeing is, in fact, the typical display result of the 
browser trying to render a language for which I don't have a language pack 
(and font).

This seems to me to support what most of the list has been stating: with 
CSS1 or XSLT, you're stuck with the fonts already resident on the user's 
machine.  If other people (without Armenian on their machines) are seeing 
something more sensical, I'd sure like to know!
