Yep.  Can be pretty slow on 56k, which is still what many businesses and
individuals have.

I'd also like to echo a post from yesterday (forgot who said it):  Just
because a user has flash enabled doesn't mean they like, or even visit,
flash sites.  I browse from home at 56k.  Unless i *really, REALLY* need to
see the site, i either skip the flash intro or hit the back button if
there's no "skip intro" link.  If there is flash inside the site, i go back
to google.

I am not alone.  Flash is not fun if you do not live in broadband land.
