OK, my turn i guess. :)

I'm 26 and living in Brighton, England. I developed an interest in computers
when my family got an Amstrad CPC6128 (with a *DISK* drive rather than a
tape drive). My brothers were only interested in playing games whereas I
also took an interest in learning some basic programming. Never really did
much with computers after that, until having left college without any major
direction, got a job as a trainee hardware engineer back in '95.

After a few years in hardware, got to learning a bit more about programming
and html from friends (was finding the hardware work very mundane) and
started on my degree in software engineering at Brighton University. Managed
to screw up my second year there (long story) but got work with a friend of
mine as a programmer/web developer, then later was given a directorship
within the company.

I'd have to say my design skills are definately lacking, I'm very much on
the coding side of things, but would like to improve on the design side.
Mostly working in ASP on an intranet application at the moment, but trying
to learn more about PHP, XML, etc, etc. Have just set up a Linux box in the
hope that I can learn more about that, and use that as my own test web
server in the office.

So many new things to learn about, so little spare time.

OK, that's me, who's next?

Cheers,
Adam.
