It has been a long time since I looked at Visual InterDev but from what I recall the layout etc. is basically the same as Visual Studio.NET. Lots of wonderful things to facilitate RAD IF you know the IDE. However I don't find the IDE very intuitive and the tutorials seem to be aimed at people who already understand the program.
I've seen demonstrations by people who can make it sit-up and sing but every time I've tried to use it I get so frustrated I want to throw it out the window so I simply don't use it. For a straight forward editor I prefer Homesite though I use Dreamweaver MX in code view most of the time. Cheryl D. I've found it to be the most stable and straight-forward editor for ASP/HTML available - very few frills apart from the file management/integration with IIS. At the end of the day it's just aglorified text editor... gotta love the simplicity. ____ The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To change subscription settings to the wdvltalk digest version: http://wdvl.internet.com/WDVL/Forum/#sub ________________ http://www.wdvl.com _______________________ You are currently subscribed to wdvltalk as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
