Hi Everyone,

Your evil list moderator is sticking her nose into this thread to say....... I've really enjoyed it. :) This is really a great group of people, ready to help any one who needs it. It's been really interesting reading about how you got involved in web design/development, where you're from and where you're going. Someone used to have a picture gallery of the wdvltalk-ers. If it's still available, now might be a good time to post the link again. :)

As for my background, I'm a city girl from NJ, transplanted to the country of TN. During the years that I raised my son, I also raised chickens, ducks, goats, horses and rottweilers. I still have the horses and rottweilers. :)

I got my first computer in Dec. 93. When I signed onto AOL in early 94 all the talk was about the new web pages and inline images, (What an innovation!) Naturally, I had to know what they were talking about. I was hooked, and life changed forever.

I did some freelance work back in '96, started working on the WDVL site in Sept. 97. After five years I'm moving on to other areas and WDVL will have a new editor. Rich Hein <rhein@jupitermedia> takes over for me on Monday. I'll be heading over to DatabaseJournal.com, so stop in and see me every once and a while. :)
