You're right, I'm uncomfortable using em and prefer to use %.
I was so busy before that I didn't want to take the time to test different text sizes, but Amanda answered a post and explained that the em is the best way to size the font because it's resizable. That makes sense, so after testing several web pages at a larger resolution, I switched. The reason I asked for a chart for the em sizes is because Netscape doesn't seem to interpret em as easily as %s.
