Mail configuration depends upon how their technicians set up the
server. I found my email configuration instructions on my host's
web site for my business account but I had to get instructions by
phone for my ISDN connection.

incoming could be something like this:
pop3.server.net
or
mail.server.net

outgoing could be any of these or something else entirely:
relay.server.net
or
smtp.server.net

Subject: [wdvltalk] FAO: (Irish) ISDN users

Hiya people,
I have a client that has a business ISDN account with Eircom. I am
not
familiar with ISDN at all & I don't know if it is the cause of my
problem. I tried setting up 4 emails (running off the client's
domain)
on my client's laptop the other day & I didn't have much success.
What I
need to know is this: are there different mail server settings
used for
an eircom isdn account other than

Incoming POP3: mail.clientsdomain.com
Outgoing SMTP: mail2.eircom.net

Thanks for any feedback, I need to have an answer by tomorrow
:o( told
him I'd have it sorted out by then. At the time I thought it was
definetly the fact that they were connecting through the eircom
isdn
account but now I'm not so sure, I've googled and the only mail
server
details I found for eircom is the "mail2.eircom.net". Confused..
Lol
Also I was under a bit of pressure that day so I might have
overlooked
something small & simple when I was setting up the account but I
think I
checked everything...

Thanks again for help with this
