Thanks Cheryl- All the books seem to imply that classic asp is pass� (of course they need to say that to keep selling books!). As a nonprogrammer I think the best approach for me is to get another book on plain asp and start there. Who knows what will happen in the next few years so as long as I am not building/modifying pages with an obsolete technology I will be OK.
