There is a joke about a doctor going up to a lawyer at a party. He asked the lawyer if he could ask him a question. The lawyer said he could. The doctor then said, "Whenever I am at a party or out socially I get people coming up to me to ask me medical questions. Do you think I should charge them for this?" The lawyer said, "Sure." The doctor said, "Thank you!" The lawyer replied, "You're welcome. That will be $50."
Riva > That part really irks me, too. I've had acquaintances who have, in essence, assumed that because I was in the business I would "help them out." > One, an ASE-certified auto mechanic, whom I have in the past paid his going rate to have work done on my car, recently asked if I would do > some work for him, and he "would provide the pizza and beer." (!!) I told him sure, right after he finished with the four-wheel brake job and the > complete tune-up and cooling system flush on my car, and I'd be glad to buy the brake pads and other supplies.
