So is that the final word on it Will? If you've got a local CompUSA or an Apple Store, go play for a bit on a PowerMac dual G5 or even an IMac G5 for that matter before you make your decision. I did on my lunch today after all the talk... let's just say it was a loooong lunch :) I'm utterly in love with the interface. It's stable, fast and reeeeeaaaal purty :) But OUCH at the price tag! The PowerMac dual G5 with the widescreen monitor I monkeyed with (for long enough that a clerk asked me to let another customer take a look :P ) was right at $6000 all said and told. Of course, the monitor's half that. But geez! Everything looks better on a 30" with a 16:10 ratio :^D apparently they run at 100ppi too... that's what makes everything look so crisp. It's almost weird adjusting to the clarity after staring at a Doze box all day. Wow!
