Why BBEdit? I've tried it and I just don't get it. Good syntax highlighting, but no code-completion / intellisense-like features. And it's muy expensivo. I hear so much about it, but it really doesn't impress me. Am I missing out on something?

On Mac, I'm SKEdit and Eclipse all the way. I do grudgingly use DWMX 2004, when I'm forced to (i.e. for MM Contribute compatibility)... my main gripes with the Mac version are the overwhelming resource hogging and lack of tabbed interface and "coder view" like the Windows version.

On PC, it's either DWMX 2004 (strictly in code view) or Eclipse if I have a CVS or SVN based project. For quick -n- dirty edits, I use MetaPad, a nice system replacement for notepad.

This does bring up a great question. What do you guys use for editors?
Personally I'm a BBEdit guy on my powerbook, I never really use anything
else, but when I as a PC guy I used to use homesite, which worked well for
browsing for files, etc. I just saw mention of Eclipse/PHPEclipse, which
I've used as in IDE for java development, but never for HTML work. I'll
have to check that out and report back. Anyone else want to chime in on
your editor of choice?
