Hi all,
As some of you know, I recently started a course with a company here in
the UK that promised me full training as a MCSA/MSDBA/MCSD and a job at
the end of it. I now feel that I have been seriously mislead by the
company, as there have been delays in my course, issues with the
development server that have taken up to three days to fix and, having
completed my first course, I feel totally unprepared for my exams.
For those of you who are worrying that this is just a gripe, don't
worry, it's not, my main query is this:
My current skill set is as follows:
Linux Administration and Networking
Apache Server
PHP
MySQL
xHtml
CSS
I also have an MCP in NT4 server and workstation, but it's been a while
since I used it.
Using my skills, I've redeveloped internet sites, constructed bespoke
content-management systems and I'm working with a Volunteer organisation
on what we believe to be the largest public-access wireless network in
the UK.
I have over 15 years experience of using computers, for 8 of which I
have been creating websites, yet I still can't seem to find a job.
Can someone tell me where I am going wrong?
