When I left the military, I had no clue about the civilian business world. Didn't know the dress code, the jargon, or how how to sell my skills. A friend had a consulting business and provided several valuable tips. When I changed my style of dress... tightened up my resume... and gained interviewing skills, my employability improved 100%. If that is not a reasonable option (I got free service since Crystal and I were, um, friends) -- perhaps some books on the subject may help.
