I hadn't checked it this morning. Not much time before heading out the door, figured I'd give you a pointer on where to look instead.
The page sort of works in Firefox (don't like the red background). The reason I say sort of is because on my tablet some of the default text visible during the rollovers. That may have something to do with my font settings which are not standard (1400x1050 on a 12" screen means using large fonts for me) but others use the same sort of settings I do so it is something to consider. FWIW, that css-d list - its owner is Eric Meyer. I began a class with Eric several years ago but we were flooded by Allison and I couldn't keep up with the class, kids, contractors and a little thing called 'work' so I ended up dropping the class. Considering the first week was on adjacent selectors it should give you an idea of the amount of work it was going to entail. Though if I had finished it I'd certainly have learned a lot and maybe even be half as knowledgeable about CSS as some people seem to think.<g /> Cheryl D. I wasn't sure where to look next; I thought that there must be a CSS list but listserv didn't seem to carry it. I will definitely check out css-d (and subscribe!), especially since I have resolved to, wherever possible, adopt a CSS approach to techniques that I used to accomplish with scripting. This is just so bloody frustrating, since as far as I can tell I have duplicated Eric's requirements. BTW, are you observing the same thing--Firefox works on that test page but IE doesn't?
