I was wondering if that might have something to do w/it but didn't
know how to go about configuring ZoneAlarm but now that you gave me
the number to input, I did this w/both computers. I have also just
completed the printer software installation on the laptop (which I
found after all of this I had to install the drivers/software on both
computers in order to make sharing work). I also tried shutting down
both ZA and my anti-virus. When I try to print I get the "printer is
offline" error. The laptop is just not seeing the desktop from what
I can tell. Somewhere along the way tonight I found that on the
laptop but at the moment I couldn't tell you where I got this from.
