something or other. I want McAfee GONE but there is no uninstall to

I can't install my Zone Alarm or my Avast anti-virus until McAfee is
gone. This is a WinXP Media machine. Anyone have any experience

Even McAfee isn't going to uninstall the uninstaller. If there is no
uninstall in the program group, then use the wizard. Odds are you'll
have more than several chances to not uninstall once you begin the
process.
