Kathy, that's not it. I did that, it did not solve the problem of BBEdit
v5.0 opening existing files without wrapping (which open wrapped in v4.0
where they were created).
I sent a message to Bare Bones support, and amazingly, they answered on a
Saturday. Here's what they said:

Make sure that the option "Don't Wrap Source Files" is turned off. You will
find this in the "Filing" section of the preferences. If this option is on,
BBEdit will not open any source type files (such as HTML) with soft
wrapping turned on.
