And a very valid reason for having it. Before I joined big blue I kept IE4
on a Toshiba notebook purely for that purpose. The notebook was used only
for that purpose, and for giving powerpoint presentations. (Now there is
one MS app that *is* better than the opposition). When I came here I gave
the Toshiba to my wife, who really doesn't care what's on it as long as
WordPerfect is.
Now I've got an agency to check stuff before it goes live - let 'em screw
up their machines.

You got me right there. I do use MSIE 3 though - in fact, I prefer it to
the v3 of Netscape. Also, I have separate browsers for my two different
networks as they both have proxy servers. I just hate the way MSIE4 takes
over everything and won't let me uninstall it properly or completely (but
then, what windows app does?). The biggest argument against it tho, is that
it won't coexist with v3 and there are still way more people using v3 than
4, although that is changing.
<sigh> I know I'll have to load it one day, but I keep hoping I'll wake up
one morning and find it was all a bad dream...
