or

D.) I can do a faster, better job writing HTML by hand and/or with some
help from a toolset comprised of shell & Perl scripts and
        other programs.

Example: I run a web site on which results from whitewater slalom races
are published. They come to me in a variety of text formats, sometimes with
the columns showing place/class/name/etc. in different order. I use
a ~10 line awk script to reshuffle the columns into the right order,
and a ~15 line shell script to turn it into HTML tables, glue on a header
and footer -- which gives me a page that only needs a couple of
quick edits with vi to finish off. Oh, and the shell script also
deposits it in the RCS revision control system, which is what I use
to track page version numbers.

I can have this done before you can get FP to load.

Let me be clear about the anti-Microsoft bit: in spite of the fact that
I think they're the scum of the earth, I'd grudgingly acknowledge the
quality of their work *if* it had any. It doesn't.
