We've been approached by a colleague who has been approched by the ad
agency of the ad agency of a big client ...... and wants a web shop
with credit card processing backend. From my research I gather this is
pretty well possible in the US, but quite unheard of in Europe.
Does anybody have any pointers as to obtaining an internet merchant
account in Europe, or any business that provides clearing services for
ISP's in Europe?
And, more in general, does anybody have an update on when SET will
finally be launched globally? So we can at least provide them with
some time table? The visa and mastercard sites only sell vaporware in
this respect.
I'd rather not have to revert to incorporating in Nevada through the
service of some dubious company whose clientele consists mainly of
porn shufflers who have been kicked out by their banks.
