Hello,
Someone suggested I use Ws_ftp and I downloaded it. But I could not see
how I can do with it what I do with cute-ftp.
I am a keyboard person. Whenever I use new software I look for keyboard
shortcuts. Even though I am paid by the hour I hate wasting time and the
keyboard is the quickest route (in fact most people in my office are
dumbfounded by my key crunching and the activity on the screen; the mouse
is the last resort for me).
So no keyboard shortcuts (or did I miss them) is a Major flaw of Ws_ftp.
Next major flaw that I noticed before I noticed the above was changing
directories. It wanted me to type in the path. No way! I can browse with cute-
ftp.
Third major flaw. (or did I miss it). There were no shortcuts I could create
(except in the version which uses explorer but I would never use that). One
very nice feature of cute-ftp is to create bookmarks for each host you connect
with.
Someone please save me from buying cute-ftp again. There must be another
good ftp program for someone who uses windows AND the keyboard.
