Hello Alex, and welcome.
In banner advertising there are several terms you wil want to become
familiar with. I'll list the ones I know, although there are more.
Impressions: How many times a banner is displayed on a page. Each time a
visitor loads that page, the banner is displayed. That's an impression.
Click-through: How many times someone has clicked on the banner
Click-through ratio: The percentage of how many time someone has clicked on
the banner vs how many times the banner how been displayed.
