Hello,
Perhaps I buy too many books or think of writing too much but I
was thinking that an interesting book could be made around this
list (or any other list for that matter but this is the one I have been
on the longest).
I have a little folder where I save emails that I like and I have more
than a few saved from people from this list. And I've followed a lot
of worthwhile links and just learned a lot in general.
Build the book around top subjects, each one begins with a snippet
from a post from the book. Describe the subject and give
examples from posts on the list.
The general idea would be not only what the web is about and how
to use it but also about mailing lists (a real new medium for most
people). I think it would be interesting from a mailing list point of
view as well as from "what can I learn about the web".
Any ideas along this line?
I would certainly share the saved posts that I currently have.
And/or do anything else within reason.
And perhaps I will get around to saving every post in a rdbms (or at
least certain parts of every post).
