I've got a technical question - hope someone can help. Back in the
olden days when I still had a memory and the ability to reason, I used
to regularly set up form-to-mail cgi's on my client's sites on Pair
Networks (bless their support FAQs and canned cgi scripts). I don't
remember it being hard or requiring any brain-power.
But now I'm forced to setup a form-to-mail on an NT server rather than
using pair.com (don't ask - it's a long story). And the sys admins will
NOT hand me or direct me to a convenient sendmail script and tell me how
to configure it (like good sys admins do when they //8want* their
clients to resell their services <g>). I created a form, found
tgmail.pl on the web, downloaded the script and opened it in a text
editor, but am bamboozled by how to set up all the variables.
Can/will anybody help, or suggest a better way for me to set up this
form to return a bunch of values to a student's email inbox (it's a
survey for a college senior thesis).
Thanks in advance - even for letting me vent <g>.
Terri Grodner, who used to know what she was doing but is feeling quite
stoopid right now.
