You're right, I'm glad I asked and that's more than I had anticipated in a
response. Now if we could just apply the UPC codes to web sites that have
multiple products, it could possibly enhance the item tracking. I have
dozens of banners stored and displayed for both personal use and for
clients. Sometimes the banners wither need to be changed or a client has
lost the code to theirs. UPC codes might help track them if we could
somehow incorporate them into a web-based system.
If Windows 95 can have a scheduler for Timex watches, where you can hold
your watch up to the screen and 'download' your schedule right into the
watch. With that capability, what would prevent us from using similar
technology on the net?
As usual, the mind is racing through futuristic time warps.
