hello all,
I would like to learn how to use server side includes. But I know nothing
about this subject. My hosting service has a page at
http://www.simplenet.com/ssi.html that professes to tell me what I need to
know, but I find it sadly lacking. It tells me that
"All directives to the server are formatted as SGML comments within the
document. This is in case the document should ever find itself in the
client's hands unparsed. Each directive has the following format:
<!--#command tag1="value1" tag2="value2" -->
and other stuff that I don't understand. What it doesn't tell me is what I
need to code into my page to, for example, simply make the current
month/day show up.
Can anyone point me to a good source of info on this? Gracias amigos and
