In responding to another post I went by Greenspun's new book website. I never
finished reading the section
on ecommerce and as I scrolled down I saw the following. Gee, how I
would like to see more of this.

Greenspun will mention those things that you have not thought of. I
myself really never considered the cost and complexity that sales tax
could be for a large company.
