Ayup.  Webster's Unabridged, 1913:

* * *

Bestial, a. [F. bestial, L. bestialis, fr. bestia, "beast".]

1. Belonging to a beast, or to the class of beasts.

     "Among the bestial herds to range". Milton.

2. Having the qualities of a beast; brutal; below the dignity of reason or
humanity; irrational; carnal; beastly; sensual. Shak. Syn.
-- Brutish; beastly; brutal; carnal; vile; low; depraved; sensual; filthy.

Bestiality, n. [F. bestialit.]

1. The state or quality of being bestial.

2. Unnatural connection with a beast.

* * *

Note that the first definition of "bestiality" is "the state or quality of being
bestial"; while the first definition of "bestial" is "belonging to a beast, or to
the class of beasts".

"Belonging to beasts" -- hmm... well, that could refer to, say, fleas (can't
think of too many other possessions a beast typically has)... so could it be
that these surfers tracked in Javilk's stats are mostly conscientious pet
owners, worried about Rover's well-being?

Nah, I didn't think so either. Sigh... such a world we live in :)
