Hi

You can tell by the number of my posts today that, while I've far too much
for one person to do, I've got the "flusters" about where to start. So this
is displacement activity to make me feel like I'm doing something ;)

Now to my question. :)

There are a plethora of radio stations that also "webcast" their output.
There are quite a few internet only "radio" stations. In the back of my
mind I seem to recall that all is not settled however, with the copyright
issue and artists royalties with regard to the webcasting aspect.

There are several community radio stations in my area as I'm on the
boundary between 3 local shires (councils, counties?). I was thinking of
approaching one of them with the idea of webcasting using Real audio (or
NetShow or both).

I've done some live events recently and all went well. (one had the faculty
Dean talking so I was a little bit nervous about it. ;-) ie stuff that up
and stuff up any future chance of doing it again.)

So I'm not so much worried about technical issues but rather copyright
ones. I had seen at least one link to a radio station from the Realnet site
that seems to have taken itself off the "air" (net) until this is resolved.

thanks
Bruce
