Must be your backwards-rotating magnetism down there or something.  "Up
here" <g> they don't let you use it 10 minutes either side of take-off
or landing, but outside that you're fine.

Mobile phones are common on US flights now.  Don't hardly get on a plane
in DC anymore without seeing 1/2 the passengers chatting away during
boarding.

Speaking of such things, had a good experience this week flying.  Went
through security line with my PalmIII at the same time someone with a
WindowsCE system did.

"Sir, would you please turn on your organizer for me?"

*grin*

I was through in about 3 seconds.  Was coming out of coffee line at
Starbucks when I saw the CE guy finally passing by . . .
