Hi Bruce,
only during takeoff and landing. During flight you can use a notebook or
most other electronic devices without problem. Mind you, I did have a
Toshiba that refused to shut down. Every time I tried it would just switch
itself back on again. Now that did cause problems, and some very angry
flight attendants! Finally fixed it with a patch from Toshiba site.
Have to say I don't have any problems at all with my ThinkPad 765. But the
600 is a truly wonderful toy. Been trying to convince my boss I need one
ever since they came out.
